I started my career more than two decades ago in television business news, writing and producing for the award-winning PBS show, “Nightly Business Report,” as well as two other Florida-based cable business news programs.

During that time, I got married, raised a son and daughter, became a Girl Scout leader, and started my copywriting career on a volunteer basis by writing newsletters and press releases to promote my children’s schools.

After leaving NBR, I joined the ranks of small business owners, as a copywriter specializing in search engine optimization and social media marketing. I’ve helped dozens of companies improve their online presence so they can reach their target audience and generate new leads/sales. I also enjoy educating business owners about social media through webinars and workshops. My blog has been rated as one of the top 11 copywriting blogs to focus on search engine optimization, according to WordStream Internet Marketing Blog.

Giving back to the community is so important, that’s one reason I serve on the board of Oviedo-Winter Springs Women, a non-profit organization that promotes education, inspiration and motivation to women of all ages. I’m a proud supporter of Project Wings Resource Center, which provides individuals and families that are touched by Special Needs and Disabilities with information that can help them improve the quality of their lives. I’m also a member of the team producing Culture City Kids, an interactive, online tool to help children discover and develop their creative talents and share them with friends and family.
